Turn on AI dossiers and Whiz keeps a living summary of every contact, built from your notes, email, and meetings — and lets you search your whole network by what you remember, not just what you typed.

Why it matters

You remember things about people that never make it into one searchable field: where you met them, what they're working on, what they need help with right now. AI dossiers pull all of that together per contact, and make it searchable in plain language, so "who did I meet in Austin who's in biotech" actually finds someone, even if you never wrote those exact words anywhere.

How it works

Once you turn it on, Relatable starts building a dossier for each contact from your notes, email and meeting history, calendar, and any meeting recorder transcripts you've connected. The dossier covers an overview, personal details, professional background and interests, your relationship history, and anything the person has asked for or offered. It updates automatically as new activity comes in. Because it's built from real signal, search across your whole network can understand meaning, not just keywords — in the Database page and in Whiz chat. If a dossier gets something wrong, add a note and pin it; a pinned note always outranks anything the model inferred.

How to use it

  1. On the web: go to Account settings → AI and turn on "Generate searchable AI dossiers on my database."
  2. On mobile: the same setting is under Settings → AI.
  3. Turning it on starts building dossiers for your most recently contacted people first, working backward through your database.
  4. Search by meaning from the Database page search bar, or ask Whiz directly in chat.
  5. Open a contact's profile to read their dossier once it's ready.

Good to know

  • This requires a paid plan and is off by default — you turn it on yourself.
  • Dossiers are private to you. Teammates never see them, even on a shared contact, and they're never used to train any model.
  • Pausing the setting, or a lapsed subscription, stops generation and search but keeps what's already built — turning it back on picks up instantly rather than starting over.
  • Building dossiers for your whole database takes time; expect your most active relationships to be ready first.
  • Correcting a dossier is as simple as adding a pinned note on the contact.
