Type, talk, or snap a photo into Whiz on your phone, and it turns the moment into a note, a contact, or a reminder.
On your phone, Whiz is how you capture something before it slips away — a note, a new contact, a reminder — by typing, talking, or snapping a photo.
Why it matters
The details that matter most are the ones you're most likely to forget: what someone said right after a meeting, the name of their kid, the thing they're worried about at work. If capturing it takes more than a few seconds, you won't do it, and the relationship loses the detail that would have made your next conversation good instead of generic.
How it works
Whiz is the tab you land on when you open the mobile app, and it's built to catch things fast. Type what happened, hold the mic and talk, or photograph a business card or a page of notes, and Whiz works out what you meant — a note on someone's profile, a new contact, or a reminder — and files it. You don't pick a form or a category first; you just say or show it what happened, and it sorts out the rest, then tells you what it did with a link back to the person.
How to use it
- In the mobile app: open Whiz, the tab you land on by default.
- Type your entry, or hold the microphone and talk. This is the fastest option right after a meeting or a call: hold the mic, say what happened while it's still fresh, and let it transcribe.
- To add someone new, describe them — Whiz creates the contact. To capture a business card or a page of notes, take a photo or upload a file and send it.
- Mention who it's about by name; Whiz matches your words to the right contact, or asks if it isn't sure.
- Check Whiz's reply. It links back to the note, contact, or reminder it created — tap through to confirm or make a correction.
Good to know
- Voice capture is the quickest path. Right after a meeting, hold the mic and talk through what you want to remember instead of typing it out later, when you won't.
- A photo of a business card or a page of notes becomes a contact or a note the same way typing or talking does.
- Whiz can capture against more than one person at once if you mention several people in the same entry.
- Whatever Whiz creates shows up right away on the contact's profile.
